Owen Sound East District Amish (Desboro, Ontario, Canada)
The Owen Sound Amish community began in 1954, the result of immigration from the United States.
In 1975 there were 35 members. The congregation is affiliated with the Old Order Amish community. The language of worship is German.
The community is located at R.R. 1, Desboro, ON. Bishop Joseph A. Miller served in 2001 as a non-salaried congregational leader.
