Het Bildt is a district of the Dutch province of Friesland, reclaimed from the old Middenzee and dammed up in 1505. In this territory Leenaert Bouwens baptized between 1563 and 1582 a total of 197 persons. Later on congregations were found in the villages of St. Anna-Parochie and Oudebildtzijl.
