Oeschelbronn was located in the Maulbronn District, Württemberg, Germany. The Anabaptist M. Zorlin, who came to Oeschelbronn from Moravia in 1577, had with him letters to various persons in the town. They were taken from him. About 38 persons of the parish attended Anabaptist preaching in 1577 and were cross-examined by the prelate and the magistrate of Maulbronn. Those liable to punishment were Jörg Kisselbronner and Claus Riebssam. They had lodged the Anabaptist Simon Kress. In 1592 the pastor of Oeschelbronn complained about the large number of Anabaptists in neighboring Baden. In 1598 a consultation was held concerning the request of Konrad Werts, who had immigrated to Moravia, for the inheritance of his parents. In 1606 Martin Bayer returned from Moravia in dissatisfaction, and was permitted to remain on probation. In 1616 Michael Nastier requested the payment of his inheritance. In 1627 there was a similar case.
