Leonhard Meister (Meyster) was an Anabaptist (?) martyr executed with Hans Koch at Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany, in 1524 for his faith (according to Mehrning probably a Waldensian). He was the author of the oldest song in the Ausbund, "Ach Gott Vater im hochsten Thron."
