Springdale Mennonite Church (MC), also known as Kindig's Church, located at Waynesboro, Virgina, a member of the Virginia Conference and second-oldest congregation in the conference, built its first meetinghouse in 1825, replaced by a larger church in 1941, which seats 450. First known as Kendig's Church, the church was renamed Springdale in 1886.

Mountain View Mennonite Church, built in 1900, and Valley View are congregations started as mission points from Springdale. East Bethel Mennonite Mission, begun in 1952, is a growing mission point.

The membership of Springdale in 1957 was 217, with Paul L. Wenger as pastor. In 2014 the membership was 160 and the congregation was served by Minister Kevin T. Goertzen.
