Groupe des Eglises Mennonites de langue francaise (Group of French-Speaking Mennonite Congregations) of France and neighboring Switzerland. When the German language had been gradually replaced by the French in a number of congregations they organized a conference in 1907 (called Association), which was reorganized in 1927 under the present name. This conference, which meets annually on the Monday after Easter, was at first a part of the Conference of the Mennonites of Alsace), but became independent in 1946.
