Vos family name
Vos, a common Dutch family name, both Mennonite and non-Mennonite; in a number of congregations there are members by this name belonging to several unrelated families. Mennonite ministers by this name were Willem Vos, preacher of the Haarlem Peuzelaarsteeg congregation 1705-ca. 1750, Klaas Pietersz Vos, preacher at Monnikendam in the early 18th century, Marcus Vos, preacher of the Groningen Old Flemish congregation at Zaandam 1757-1774, and Karel Vos.
