Tele Obelecker, an Anabaptist martyr of Mühlhausen, Thuringia, Germany, baptized by Heinz Kraut, was drowned in the Unstrut between Mühlhausen and Ammern with nine brethren on 8 November 1537. In the cross-examinations held on 19 and 22 October 1537, she confessed her faith, rejecting infant baptism and the oath, but promising obedience to the government.
