Weyneken, Jans (d. 1534)
Jans Weyneken (Wyneken, Wijnken), a revolutionary Anabaptist of Friesland. She sailed with an Amsterdam group in March 1534 en route to Münster, but was apprehended at Bergklooster in the Dutch province of Overijssel. On 11 May 1534, the Court of Holland sentenced her to be burned at the stake. The sentence was apparently executed at The Hague.
