Mees (Meys) Jansz, a Dutch Mennonite elder, serving in the 17th century in the Flemish congregation of Huisduinen, Holland. He was one of the most conservative leaders of the Flemish Mennonites, later of the Zonists. In June 1660 he attended a Flemish conference at Leiden (see Leidsche Synode), where he represented the Zaandam congregation, having in April of that year been in Hamburg, Germany, where he performed baptism and probably ordained the preachers Dr. Werner Jansz Colombier and Gerrit Roosen. Particulars about his life were not available.
