Franekeraars

Franekeraars (or Franekers) were a group of Dutch Mennonites who about 1556 followed Hendrik Naeldeman of Franeker, also called Scheedemakers. They were a progressive group among the Dutch Mennonites and soon merged with the Waterlanders.
