Brotherhood
Brotherhood (Dutch, broederschap). The concept of the church as a brotherhood, a central idea in Anabaptism, is discussed under Ecclesiology. See also Mutual Aid. In the mid-20th century many American Mennonite congregations organized men's brotherhoods.
