The Breslau Codex is a manuscript from the middle of the 17th century in octavo, 236 pages, with the date "(16..)" on the cover, obviously attributable to a Moravian Anabaptist, in the Breslau university library, found under Sig. IV. duod. 8. The data of the "most recent times" are related in this chronicle of 1524 to 1648. The fate of this manuscript, in view of the severe destruction in Breslau at end of World War II and occupation by the Poles, was uncertain in the 1950s.
