Bondo (Java, Indonesia)
Bondo, the seat of a Mennonite congregation on the Indonesian island of Java, on the former territory of the Dutch Mennonite Mission Association, organized as an independent church in 1940. This congregation of Javanese Christians had 106 baptized members in 1953; children of members numbered 179, catechumens 15. After 1943 Barnawi was the unordained minister.
