Bentinus, Michael (ca. 1495-1527)

Michael Bentinus, born ca. 1495, died November 1527, was one of Hans Denck's most intimate friends. Dutch by birth, Bentinus lived in Basel, where he was an outstanding member of the Erasmian circle. Denck died in his house.
