Sterzing (Stertzing), a town in the South Tyrol (formerly Aus­tria) region of Italy, was from 1528 a center of Anabaptist activity. Thirty Anabaptists were executed at Sterzing, among whom were Konrad Fichter and Lamprecht Gruber, both in 1532.
