Lenzburg (Aargau, Switzerland)
Lenzburg is a district (Amt) in the Swiss canton of Aargau, where soon after its rise Anabaptismseems to have spread quietly. In the public discussion with some Protestant preachers, held at Bern, 11-17 March 1538, two Anabaptists of the Lenzburg district were present. Soon after more rigorous measures were adopted, which caused most Anabaptists of Lenzburg to move to Moravia.
