Forrer, Joh. Rud. Philipp (b. 1598)

Joh. Rud. Philipp Forrer (born 1598), the Reformed pastor in Langnau in the Emmental, Switzerland, debated with the Mennonites in 1621, soon after taking the pastorate. His notes on the colloquia were published by Emil Blösch in the Archiv des historischen Vereins des Kantons Bern XII (1889) 282-307. In 1629 Forrer was made dean at Aarburg, and in 1652 at Burgdorf in the Emmental.
