Year Book of the Krimmer Mennonite Brethren (KMB) Church was first published in 1905, reporting the 26th Conference Session held at the Salem KMB Church, Bridgewater, South Dakota. The 500 copies of this first pamphlet of 8 pages, 3.62 x 6 inches, were printed entirely in German by the Rundschau, Elkhart, IN. It is published annually for the purpose of distributing information of its activities among its churches, and to preserve an official record. The pamphlet contains reports of the work carried on by the Conference during that year through its committees and its churches, as well as the recommendations and resolutions adopted by the delegates for the new year. Until 1938 it was published in German; 1939-44 it contained reports in both languages; since 1945 it has been published in English. The pamphlet has been enlarged to 85-95 pages, 5.25 x 8 inches. The Fifty-third Year Book, submitting the report of the 78th Session, was published in 1957.
