The Riedsville, ON congregation began services in 1937. Menno Shantz is considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through outreach by the Detweiler Mennonite Church and Menno Shantz.

The group met in the home of Menno Shantz. The congregation has dissolved. It was affiliated with the Mennonite Conference of Ontario.
