Kat, Jacob Jansz (d. 1748)
Jacob Jansz Kat, a Dutch Mennonite preacher at Amsterdam (Old Frisians) 1704-1748, published Kort begrip van de Leere der Waarheyt . . . , of which are extant a 2nd edition of 1736, a 3rd edition of 1747, and a 4th (erroneously indicated 3rd) edition of 1762, all published at Amsterdam. This catechism was used in the Amsterdam Zonist congregation until 1801.
