Agape Mennonite Assembly was founded in August 1993 in Middlefield, Ohio. It joined the Biblical Mennonite Alliance in February 2000.

In 2015 the contact person was Lee Mullet, the congregational membership was 12.

Agape Mennonite Assembly was no longer listed in BMA's 2023 directory.
