Leonhard Alexberger, an Anabaptist martyr in Upper Austria, was baptized by Hans Hut in Steyr. Since he would not recant, he was beheaded on 30 March 1528, with Hans Schützenacker, Sigmund Pentler (Peutler), Matth. Pürchinger, Hans Muhr and Hans Penzenauer, upon order of King Ferdinand, and then burned.
