Lenzburg (Aargau, Switzerland)
Lenzburg is a district (Amt) in the Swiss canton of Aargau, where soon after its rise Anabaptism seems to have spread quietly. In the public discussion with some Protestant preachers, held at Bern, 11-17 March 1538, two Anabaptists of the Lenzburg district were present. Soon after more rigorous measures were adopted, which caused most Anabaptists of Lenzburg to move to Moravia.
