Lücken, von (d. 1852)
C. (?) von Lücken established a Mennonite church on his estate Zahrensdorf, one mile from Boitzenburg in Mecklenburg, Germany, ca. 1850, thereby arousing the opposition of the government, leading to his arrest and a prison sentence. His final plan was to sell his estate and emigrate to Australia, in order to establish a large Mennonite church there. He had negotiated with the British government for an extensive tract of land, but died suddenly in 1852.
