Hansma, Leendert (1861–1940)
Leendert Hansma, b. 1861 at Dokkum, d. 5 December 1940, at Assen, a Dutch Mennonite bookseller and printer at Assen. He published the Doopsgezind Jaarboekje from its beginning (1901). He helped to establish a Mennonite fellowship circle, and soon after, a congregation at Assen, and for a number of years served as its secretary (1896-1926). He not only published the Doopsgezind Jaarboekje but also contributed to its contents; in a number of issues sketches are found signed H.V.A. (i.e., Hansma, van Assen).
