Abraham Tieleman, b. ca. l733 at Amsterdam, d. there 26 April 1820, was a lay preacher of the Danzig Old Flemish "op de Smallegraft" congregation at Haarlem 1766-86; 1786-88 he served in the Danzig Old Flemish church "bij de Kruikjes" at Amsterdam; in 1788 this small group merged with the Zonists; in 1790 Tieleman, who had resigned at the merger, became a preacher of this Zonist congregation. In 1801, when the Zonist church merged with the Lamist, Tieleman retired.
