Fortuyn, Symon Jansz (16th/17th century)
Symon Jansz Fortuyn composed a Mennonite hymnbook entitled Geestelijck Liedtboeck genaemt de Basuyn, with 694 pages. It was published after his death by the printer Jacob Aertsz Calom at Amsterdam, with an introduction by P. J. Twisck. Apparently Fortuyn, about whom no further information was available, belonged to the Old Frisian branch.
