Kaspar Färber (Ferber) was one of the first Anabaptists in Augsburg, Germany. He came from Tyrol, Austria; he was already a member of the brotherhood when he came to the city. He was in close contact with the South German Anabaptists, especially with Hans Denck, who was expelled from Nürnberg on 21 January 1525. Hans Hut, who was everywhere enthusiastically received as a popular preacher, was won to the Anabaptist group by Denck and Färber at Pentecost in 1526.
