<em>Christ Seul</em> is the organ of the Association of French-speaking Mennonite congregations of France ([[Association des Églises Évangéliques Mennonites de France|Association des Églises Évangéliques Mennonites de France]]). It originated in connection with the conferences that have been held since 1901. At first a report was published after every conference beginning in 1902, to which several articles were soon added. Since 1907 the paper has appeared regularly, at first under the title, <em>Bulletin de la Conference des Eglises evangeliques-mennonites francaises, </em>and beginning in June 1907 <em>Christ Seul. </em>From August 1908 it was published in a monthly edition of 700 copies. Because of the war it ceased publication in 1914, to be resumed in October 1927. A second time because of war it discontinued in 1941, to be resumed in April 1945. From May 1943 to March 1945 a substitute <em>Bulletin Mennonite </em>was published, first in typed or mimeographed form and from January 1945 printed. The editor from the beginning to 1941 was Pierre Sommer, assisted by Pierre Kennel until 1914. After 1945 Pierre Widmer again served as editor for many years.
