Polrus (Pulrus, Pilraust), Erhard, an [[Anabaptism|Anabaptist]] martyr, baptized by George of Staffelstein in Esperstedt, near Frankenhausen in [[Thuringia (Germany)|Thuringia]], in 1529, was arrested in early January, but released when he recanted. Soon, however, he was persuaded by the Anabaptist leader Alexander to return to the brotherhood. He was arrested the third time and executed with two companions in mid-November 1532 at Allstedt.
