Hendrik Albertsz Hoejewilt, born 1606 at De Rijp, Dutch province of North Holland and died there 14 February 1667, was a Dutch poet known as "de Rijper poëet," a large number of whose hymns have been inserted in the Rijper Liedtboecxken of 1669 and following editions.
