Ursula Corffis (Korffis), of Vuchtenburch(?), an Anabaptist martyr, was drowned at Haarlem, Holland, 29 May 1539. On 23 May 1539, she was apprehended with a number of Anabaptists meeting in the house of Lambrecht Duppijns. Twice she was tortured on the rack; she confessed that she had been a nun before she joined the Anabaptists. The entire group were followers of David Joris.
