Anthonis (Anthoon) Fockes was an Anabaptist martyr, executed for his faith at Leeuwarden in the Dutch province of Friesland on 31 December 1554, along with Allart Jansz. He was put to death by drowning. He condemned all that was done by the Roman Catholic Church as idolatry.
