Johann Fast, a Mennonite missionary, was born 23 January 1861 at Ohrloff in the [[Molotschna Mennonite Settlement (Zaporizhia Oblast, Ukraine)|Molotschna]] Mennonite settlement, [[Russia|Russia]], the son of Gerhard Fast.
