Kenabeek Conservative Mennonite Church began services in 1979, and formally organized in 1982. The first building was occupied in 1981. Bishop Ralph Gerber is considered the founding leader of the group. The congregation originated through outreach by the Milverton Conservative Mennonite Fellowship. Like its mother church, Kenabeek was initially part of the Conservative Mennonite Fellowship, and in the late 1990s became part of the Nationwide Fellowship Churches.
In 2018 the church had 59 members and was a member of the Nationwide Fellowship Churches. The ministerial team included Bishop Harold Gerber and Ministers Paul Strubhar and Leroy Stutzman.
