The Trinity Mennonite Church congregation in Calgary, Alberta began services in 1983, and formally organized in 1984. The first building was occupied in 1990. The congregation originated through division from First Mennonite and Foothills Mennonite Churches.

On 27 April 2005 the church began construction on a new sanctuary located in the foothills just south of Calgary, and on 17 September 2006 the new sanctuary was dedicated.
