The Prairie Mennonite congregation in Stirling, Alberta began services in 1986. The congregation was affiliated with the Mid-West Mennonite Fellowship and joined the Biblical Mennonite Alliance in July 2004. The language of worship is English.

In 2000 the congregation met at the Stirling Lions Club Community Centre.

In 1995 there were 33 members; in 2000, 17; in 2008, 28; and in 2012, 40. In 2012 the leading minister was Calvin Weber and the average weekly attendance was 70.
