<em>The Mennonites of America </em>by C. Henry Smith, the first and by the 1950s the only comprehensive work on American Mennonite history, was published by the author at [[Goshen (Indiana, USA)|Goshen]], IN, in 1909, printed by the [[Mennonite Publishing House (Scottdale, Pennsylvania, USA)|Mennonite Publishing House ]]at Scottdale, PA, 484 pp. illustrated.
