Mergriet Horstmans, an Anabaptist martyr, drowned at Utrecht, Netherlands on 11 June 1539. She was the widow of Anthonis van Aldenberch, from the Bishopric of Münster, Westphalia. No further information about her was available, except that she had been (re)baptized.
