Herald of Truth, a 16-page 9 x 12 in. (23 x 30.5 cm.), monthly, prined by the offset process, published at Uniontown, Ohio, by a Publication Board representing two congregations in [[Ohio (State)|Ohio]] which had withdrawn from the [[Conservative Mennonite Conference|Conservative Mennonite Conference]] in 1956 and one in [[Ontario (Canada)|Ontario]] which had withdrawn from the [[Ontario Amish Mennonite Conference (Mennonite Church)|Ontario Amish Mennonite Conference]] in 1956. In January 1959 the Publication Board merged with the Board of Directors of the Pilgrim Mennonite Press to form a new board called Herald of Truth Publications, which announced its intention to publish a youth periodical and Sunday-school lesson helps for all age levels, also tracts on timely topics. The first issue of the periodical was April 1957.
