Taede Ruyerdtszoon (Joncker Kaths), of Hettingahuys, a Dutch Anabaptist martyr, was beheaded at Leeuwarden, the capital of Friesland, on 30 September 1559, because of his Mennonite convictions. Particulars are lacking.
