Amme Hikkes (Heckens, Hiekens) was an elder of the Old Flemish congregation at Midwolde in Groningen, Netherlands. Although little is known concerning him, he was without doubt an important and influential person. He attended various meetings at which disputes were settled or important resolutions passed, as the meetings of 15 November 1685 and 11 April 1686 at Knijpe in Friesland, where Age Jouckes had to clear himself of the suspicion of unorthodoxy. His presence was also requested at Groningen, 2 June 1685, to form a resolution concerning the brethren who had participated in the meetings of the Collegiants.
