Geertruyt Jansdochter (surnamed Kemster), a Dutch Anabaptist martyr. It is assumed that her surname means that she was a native of Kennemerland, a district of the province of North Holland, north of Haarlem. She was arrested at Haarlem on 24 May 1539, and after torture on 28 May was drowned there on 3 June 1539. She may have been a follower of David Joris. For particulars see Lambrecht Duppijns.
