Sebold Penthelin, a member of the Anabaptist congregation in Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany, in whose house their religious services were held. He was baptized by Jakob Gross. He was seized in September 1527, but declared that he would adhere to his faith and refused to render the oath, and was thereupon expelled from the city with five other Anabaptists, including Anna, the wife of Salminger.
