Izaak van Kalker (Calcar), of the old van Calcar family of Deventer, born there about 1678 and died in August 1756 at Zaandam, was a (lay) preacher of the Old Flemish congregation of Zaandam Oost from 1712-1756. He is also said to have preached for the New Swiss Mennonite congregation of Sappemeer, who met in a small private house on the former Sapmeer (reclaimed lake). Van Kalker published Belijdenis en Lofgezangen (1737), Zedelijke en Stichtelijke Gezangen (Zaandam, 1737), Geestelijke Lofzangen (Zaandam, 1739), and Israels Verdrukking en Verlossing in Egipten (Zaandam, 1739).
