Gentius Wybrandi, b. ca. 1735 at Leeuwarden, d. there ca. 1810, studied at the Zonist seminary at Amsterdam and was a pastor at Berlikum 1761-1782 and Heerenveen 1782-1788, in which year he retired, devoting himself to farming and business. A side branch by marriage with the Tigler family is the Tigler Wybrandi family.
