Jörg Kreutzinger, a baker's assistant, was an Anabaptist martyr. He was killed with the sword and then burned with seven brethren at Wels in Upper Austria, 28 June 1528. Three days later two women were drowned, and six persons who recanted were pardoned, subject to public penitence.
