Cornelis Stevensz, an Anabaptist martyr, born at Montfoort, Dutch province of Utrecht, was baptized at Gorinchem, Dutch province of South Holland, was married in an Anabaptist meeting at Haarlem, and lived for some years in Rotterdam, where he presided at meetings and taught from the Scriptures. He was beheaded at Rotterdam on 4 March 1535. According to Vos he was a Münsterite. He had been baptized at Gorinchem by Lenart Boekbinder.
