Peter Frericx, a tailor of Bolsward, Friesland, an Anabaptist martyr, was beheaded because of Anabaptism on 17 March 1537, with two other Anabaptists at Leeuwarden, the capital of the Dutch province of Friesland. His widow Janneken was drowned at Leeuwarden on 19 December 1537.
